CDC: US SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE EPIDEMIC WORSENING
CHICAGO (AP) — A U.S. sexually transmitted diseases epidemic is increasing and the most common infection, chlamydia, has risen to record levels, government officials say. Reported cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis all increased in 2014. Chlamydia cases had dipped in 2013, but last year’s total of more than 1.4 million – or 456 cases per 100,000 – was the highest number of annual cases of any condition ever reported to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The chlamydia rate was up almost 3 percent from 2013, the CDC reported Tuesday. |

Sexually transmitted diseases are among more than 70 diseases that are reportable to the CDC, including measles, chickenpox and tuberculosis. Flu is reported differently, by hospitalizations. “America’s worsening STD epidemic is a clear call for better diagnosis, treatment, and prevention,” said the CDC’s Dr. Jonathan Mermin. Gonorrhea cases totaled 350,062, up 5 percent from 2013, and the most contagious forms of syphilis jumped 15 percent to 20,000. As in previous years, the syphilis increase was mainly in gay and bisexual men. Most gonorrhea and chlamydia infections were in 15- to 24-year-olds, an ongoing trend. Both can cause infertility in women but can be treated with antibiotics. They often have no symptoms, and while yearly screening is recommended for sexually active women younger than 25, many don’t get tested and infections go untreated, the CDC said. ————————————————————————————————————— Romans 1:18–32 prophesies divine judgment upon those who refuse to follow YHVH’s sex laws as outline in his Torah:

Jacob’s Ladder Explained—YHVH’s Plan of Salvation from Genesis to Revelation
Introduction to the Study of Genesis 28:10–22
Jacob’s vision of a ladder to heaven is one of those enigmatic Scriptural passages which has befuddled the keen intellects of many Bible scholars down through the ages. Perhaps the deeper elucidations of Jacob’s vision has escaped the reader as well. If so, you are not alone, for well-known Christian commentators such as Matthew Henry and Adam Clarke have stabbed at its meaning realizing it has something to do with the Person of Yeshua the Messiah and his heaven-ordained ministry to reconcile earth’s inhabitants to their Heavenly Father and Creator. Keil and Delitzsch don’t even connect this dream to the Person of Yeshua. Other than vague explanations as to the dream’s interpretations, these esteemed scholars have nothing more to proffer the reader. Little if anything is said of the allegorical meaning of the ladder, the dust, the stones (plural) becoming a stone (singular) or of the significance of “the place.” Even the unusually insightful biblical scholar Arthur W. Pink in his book, Gleanings In Genesis, though he draws 101 parallels between Joseph and Yeshua the Messiah, can gives us no more insights into the spiritual and prophetic implications of Jacob’s ladder than do Henry and Clarke. This is some of the best that Christianity has to offer on this subject.
Now what does the best of rabbinic Judaism have to offer us by way of explanation of Jacob’s dream? It goes without saying that their interpretations will be devoid of any references to Yeshua, but can we learn anything else from them. After all, they have been studying this passage for more than 3800 years! Rashi, viewed by some as the greatest Torah expositor of the last 1000 years has little to add to our understanding as does Samson Raphael Hirsch, the great nineteenth-century Torah teacher. The Baal HaTurim in his Torah commentary adds some interesting insights relating to the subsurface or hidden meaning of some of the Hebrew words used in the text that not only confirm the simple or plain meaning of the text, but add depth to it as well on an allegorical or prophetic level. We will cite a number of other Jewish scholars who between them contribute greatly to our understanding of the text. But for all their collective wisdom, they, not surprisingly, fail to connect the meaning of the ladder to YHVH’s plan of redemption and salvation for mankind. They fail to see the big picture and master plan involving the Messiah, the Living Word of Elohim sent from heaven to redeem lost mankind.
Both the Christian scholars and the Jewish sages are blind in part since both have rejected half of the key to unlocking the full depth and panoramic understanding of this vision. The former has, to one degree or another, rejected its Jewish or Hebraic roots and the relevance of the written Torah to theological understanding and lifestyle, while the latter has rejected Yeshua, Living Word or Living Torah sent from Heaven to give us wisdom, understanding, redemption and salvation. Each side is spiritually blind in part to one-half of YHVH’s truth (Rom 11:25). Both have stumbled over the stone of stumbling and the rock of offence (Isa 8:14). The Christians have rejected much of the truth of the written Torah, while the Jews have rejected the spirit of prophecy as revealed through Yeshua, the Living Torah (Rev 19:20). To understand the heart of the Father as revealed in his written word, Yeshua said that it would take both spirit and truth (John 4:23–24). With these thoughts in mind, let us proceed to understand this vision of Jacob.

Do we have to keep all 613 Torah commands?
Got this email question today:
Nat[e], are you saying that christians are required to keep all 613 Torah commandments? I understood that Yeshua was the only one who followed these perfectly and met the requirement.
My answer:
Yes. This is affirmed again and again in the NT. Start by reading John 14:15 and 1 John 2:3–6. The NT defines sin as the violation of the law (1 John 3:4). Paul over and over affirmed the need to keep the Torah (Rom 3:31; Act 21:24; 25:8; 1 Cor 7:18). The end time saints are Torah-obedient (Rev 12:17 and 14:12). Those who make it to the New Jerusalem, which is heaven on earth, are Torah-law keepers (Rev 22:14). I could give hundreds more examples out of the NT alone, but hopefully, the point is made.
Why is it that Christians overlook these clear Scripture verses and come up with a theology that is totally opposite? It’s because of what is said in Rom 8:7. The carnal mind hates Elohim’s laws and being told what to do. Bottom line: It’s because of human pride and rebellion agains the Almighty.
Did Yeshua keep all 613 perfectly? No! The ones he could keep, he did so without ever sinning. He never broke one commandment or sinned even once, but he didn’t keep every single one. How is this? Some Torah commands apply to farmers, to priests. to Levites, to aliens, to slaves, to taking care of animals, to the high priest, to those who had certain types diseases or physical disabilities and to women. Yeshua, for example, didn’t keep the laws that pertained to a person with the skin diseases that the Bible colloquially calls leprosy. He didn’t keep the laws pertaining to farming or animal husbandry or to women since he wasn’t a farmer or a woman. Get the point? He did, however, keep perfectly all the laws that pertained to him. Likewise, we should keep all the laws that pertain to us. That’s all that YHVH requires of us. Certain laws, for example pertain to everyone equally across the board like the Sabbath laws, the dietary laws, keeping the biblical feasts, honoring parents, not stealing, not murdering, not coveting, not lying, not taken YHVH’s name in vain or worshipping idols.
By the way, there are more affirmative commands in the NT than in the Torah. According to one biblical researcher there are 1050! Therefore, it would seem that the NT requirements are more stringent than the those found in the Torah. Put that in your pipe and smoke it all you anti-Torah Christian theologians!
Revelation and the Olivet Prophecy (Matt 24 and 25) Compared
Not unlike treasure hunters examining a map for clues leading to a buried treasure, or an archeologist carefully scrutinizing ancient artifacts for information about lost civilizations, or an engineer diligently studying blueprints in order to construct a mechanical device or a building, we have briefly examined some of YHVH’s spiritual blueprints found in the Scriptures to give us clues about the nature and order of end-time events. Understanding the seven biblical feasts, the seven stations in the tabernacle of Moses and the various steps of the biblical wedding will help us to decode the mysteries surrounding the events pertaining to the second coming of our Master, Yeshua the Messiah.
Introducing the Olivet Prophecy
Now let us carefully investigate another set of spiritual blueprints: Yeshua’s prophecy in Matthew 24 and 25, commonly called the Olivet Prophecy.
Having a working knowledge of all these “blueprints” will help us to discover who we are as a people in the eyes of YHVH, where we have come from, where we are presently, and where we are going—that is, what the future holds for us, and what our spiritual destiny or divine inheritance is. Only then will we understand the end-time prophetic events leading up to the second coming of Yeshua, and we will learn what our role will be to play in them.
As we begin to examine Matthew 24 and 25, it is important first to note the chronological positioning of this prophecy in the context of the passages before and after this pivotal chapter. The chapters that precede Matthew 24 prophetically speak of precursory events leading up to the second coming of Yeshua, while those that follow Matthew 24 prophetically delineate events that occur after his return.
Matthew 24 sits like a diamond in the midst of a brilliant gold setting. It speaks of Continue reading
