Why This Blog?

This blog is for those of you have a burning passion for the Word of Elohim (from Genesis to Revelation), for you know its divine power and its life-changing potential. What’s more, this blog site could well be a welcome home away from home for you if you feel a divine mission to “work the Word of Elohim,” and to be that proverbial light on a hill and salt in the earth—to share the Bible’s delectable truths with others.

It is my desire for this blog to be a candy store experience for those who have tasted the Word of Elohim and found it to be sweet— a river of life dripping with the heavenly nectar of Elohim’s instructions in righteousness that will overflow one’s empty soul leading to a heaven-on-earth eternity as spirit-sons and daughter of the Most High.

This is your invitation to join me, Natan Lawrence, along with other members of my spiritual family, as we systematically read the Bible in a year following Hoshana Rabbah’s daily Scriptures reading schedule. Then let each of us bring to YHVH’s banqueting table the sweet tidbits, truffles, bonbons, and priceless nuggets and pearls that we discover in his word for our mutual delight.

Our Redeemer and Master Yeshua said,

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Elohim. (Matt 4:4)

Paul, the apostle declared,

Study to show thyself approved unto Elohim, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Tim 2:15)

All scripture is given by inspiration of Elohim, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Tim 3:16)

King David wrote,

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Ps 119:105)

As the blog host, I will toss out my own insights from the Scriptures several times a week, followed by questions hoping to illicit your thoughtful contributions. Also, from time to time, I will post short sidebar essays on a variety of provocative biblical subjects for your edification and comment.
