Would this ever happen in the U.S. and other western countries?

The Ebola virus under magnification

As health officials worldwide spend hundreds of millions of dollars to bring under control an Ebola outbreak in several West African nations where nearly 1,000 people have died, local religious leaders are turning to God.

report in the Liberian Observer in Monrovia says leaders in the Liberian capital met to talk about the threat and decided that three days of prayer and fasting should be observed in conjunction with seeking God’s forgiveness for “immoral acts” such as “homosexualism.”

The report said more than 100 ministers, including bishops, pastors and prophets from a wide range of church denominations, discussed the Ebola crisis at a meeting convened by Archbishop Jonathan B.B. Hart, president of the Liberia Council of Churches.

They agreed that:

1. God is angry with Liberia and that Ebola is a plague. “Liberians have to pray and seek God’s forgiveness over the corruption and immoral acts (such as homosexualism, etc.) that continue to penetrate our society. As Christians, we must repent and seek God’s forgiveness.”

2. Three days of fasting and prayer be observed across the nation, concluding Friday.

Repent America: A Modern Day Dust Bowl

“But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you … And your heavens which are over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you shall be iron. The LORD will change the rain of your land to powder and dust; from the heaven it shall come down on you until you are destroyed. (Duet 28:15, 23, 24)

Please join me in praying that this nation repents of its sins and turns back to the Elohim of the Bible to love and obey him.

This drought doesn’t just affect the farmers in California, but all of us, since the food they produce feeds us.

As a drought unfolds slowly and devastatingly, California farmers feel desperate and abandoned

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bob Taylor was barely 2 years old when his parents packed as many belongings as they could into their rickety old car and headed west from New Mexico toward California.

It was 1936, the height of the Dust Bowl, when the worst drought the country had ever seen forced tens of thousands of families to abandon their parched farmlands and head west in the hope of finding jobs and a more stable life.

Taylor’s parents were farm laborers, cotton pickers from Oklahoma and Texas who had slowly inched their way west chasing the crops that had somehow managed to survive the lack of rain. But then came the terrible dust storms, choking black blizzards of dirt fueled by the loose soil of eroded farmlands that swept across the plains, turning the days as dark as night. They were monsters that suffocated the life out of anything the drought hadn’t managed to kill — crops, animals and even people, who began to die from the dust that filled their lungs. Islam Vs. Christianity

The persecution of Christians by Muslims is finally being reported by the mainstream media. It’s not anti-Islam bigotry to report on this — it’s simply reporting the facts. Now even the U.S. State Department is highlighting this issue (see article below).

You see, the Koran calls for the persecution of Christians and Jews, which it calls the “people of the book.” You can read these verses for yourself in the Koran at http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/023-violence.htm or http://know-britain.com/islam/muslim_persecution_of_christians.html. Also, check out my video on this subject at http://youtu.be/Qb59Hmg5FSQ?list=UUyYQr-wJ4vAp4M5iXK_UXIg .

Historically and at present this is how it works: Muslims immigrate into a county, and begin to increase in numbers until they have a large enough population to begin exercising dominance over that country’s native population. Once in control, Muslims then give the people the option to convert, be killed, flee or pay a heavy tax depending on the situation. Historically, many African and Middle Eastern nations were predominately Christian until Islam took over through the means listed above.

Don’t think it can’t happen where you live. Unless YHVH’s people repent of not whole-heartedly following and obeying him, the Bible speaks of YHVH using the wicked (e.g., the descendants of Edom, the Persians, Gog and Magog and the Syrians et al [i.e., the Muslims] to discipline his people to bring them back to him.

Watch, pray and repent of what the Bible defines as sin (i.e., Torahlessness,1 John 3:4).

State Department: Christian presence in Middle East becoming ‘shadow of its former self’

The State Department issued a dire report Monday on the state of religious freedom around the world, with an alarming warning that the Christian presence in Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East is becoming a “shadow of its former self.”

The analysis was included as part of a comprehensive report on religious freedom around the world in 2013. The report cited a flood of examples of governments and militant groups cracking down on religious minorities, everywhere from Pakistan to Egypt to China. The victims included Christians, but also Hindus, Muslims and others.

The report offered a pointed warning about religious violence in the three-year-old civil war in Syria.

“After three years of civil war, hundreds of thousands fled the country desperate to escape the ongoing violence perpetrated by the government and extremist groups alike,” the report said. It said that in Homs, the Christian population has plummeted from 160,000 before the conflict to “as few as 1,000.”  (To continue reading: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/07/28/state-department-christian-presence-in-middle-east-becoming-shadow-its-former/ )

Video: Islam — God’s Judgment on Christians to Bring Spiritual Revival

Judgment, judgment, judgment and more judgement—YHVH is knocking on the door

Leviticus 26:1–46, Blessing and curses based on obedience to YHVH’s Torah-Word. The corollary to this passage is Deuteronomy chapter 28. These judgments come upon a people who have forgotten their Elohim because they have been blessed materially and in their self-sufficiency have forgotten who the source of their blessings is, and that their blessings are contingent upon obedience to YHVH. These principles are universal, yet how we tend to forget the cycles of history that repeat themselves over and over again like the unstoppable turning of giant millstone grinding into powder those who refuse to learn the lessons from the past. Each generation proudly asserts it’s exceptionalism and that, somehow, it’s immune to YHVH’s inexorable and immutable principles of divine judgment. Only in the perfect hindsight of history can we see the fallacy of this assumption. Ancient Israel failed to learn these lessons as have subsequent nations who claimed to follow the Bible.

In the case of America, and Great Britain before her (and other Christian nations as well), there was in former times a national consciousness of core biblical values and, to one degree or another, a public acknowledgement, acceptance of and respect for the God of the Bible. However, as a nation becomes blessed, it reaches an apogee of prominence, power and wealth where it becomes rich and increased with goods and no longer needs Elohim — or so it thinks. It become fat and forgets the source of its wealth and falls into a state of self-sufficiency leading to spiritual blindness to recognize its true spiritual state (recall YHVH’s warning to a lukewarm church in Rev 3:14–22). This can happen to individuals, churches and to whole societies.

Because YHVH loves his people and wants to walk among them, to be their Elohim and to bless them (Lev 26:12), when they disobey him and walk in ways that are harmful to their well-being, like any loving parent, he is forced to discipline them. Again and again he sends them his prophets and watchmen to warn them that they’re on a path of self-destruction. But because their hearts are uncircumcised, they refuse to humble themselves and repent (Lev 26:41). It’s the same old story over and over again. Human pride insists that “judgments can’t happen to us because we’re so special.” “All things will continue as they have from the beginning” a self-assured society retorts in mocking and scoffing tones to all those who would hold them accountable for their errant ways (2 Pet 3:3–7). If only the great nations and empires that have already trod this well-worn path and are now in the dust bin of history could speak from their graves and this generation had heart ears to hear!

As a loving Father, YHVH doesn’t lower the boom of his full discipline immediately upon his wayward children. He increases the dosage incrementally in hopes that each successive ratcheting down of his judgments will heal the spiritual sickness of his people and bring them to a point of humility and confession of their iniquity (or Torahlessness, Lev 26:40). In this chapter, YHVH reveals four sets of judgments with each one becoming seven times more severe than the previous one (Lev 26:18, 21, 24, 28). This reminds us of YHVH’s end-times judgments upon a rebellious world that has given itself over to devil worship just prior to the return of Yeshua as prophesied in the book of Revelation. There are seven seals, seven trumpets, seven thunders and finally seven bowl judgments.

What can you do? You may not be able to change society, but a societal change begins one step and one life at a time — with your life! That’s the only thing for certain that you can change. You know what needs to be done. Just listen to your conscience — to YHVH’s Spirit knocking at the door of your heart (Rev 3:20), and then repent and obey. It’s that simple.

The Rise of the God of Statism (Satanism)

More and more, big government (both national and international), and increasingly small government as well, is at war with the people it’s supposed to be serving. Government wants to replace the God of the Bible with itself, which is why it’s at war with the God of the Bible, and anything it perceives to be biblical in nature.

What we’re seeing is the rise of the god of statism. This god, which is the invention of an elite and powerful few who follow Satan, demands total obedience of its subjects. Those who dare to resist will incur the severe wrath of this god.

Judgment 14747592

The true God, YHVH Elohim, has allowed this other god to rise up as a judgment against his willful and prideful people who have turned away from him in favor of the false gods of the heathen. As with the biblical Jews of old who refused to obey YHVH, he is giving them a harsh, demonic slave master who, on the one hand, promises salvation and blessings, yet delivers bondage and misery. If you’re an American, think of the mantra “hope and change” you heard not long ago!

What we’re seeing is the rise of the global governmental system called Babylon the Great of Revelation chapter 18 which will rule over a dumbed down, pleasure-seeking, self-worshipping, pharmakeia influenced population of slaves.

What’s the solution?

The Bible says that if YHVH’s people will humble themselves, pray and seek him and turn from their wicked (lawless or Torahless) ways, then he will hear them, will  forgive their sin (the sin of Torahlessness, 1 John 3:4) and heal their land (2 Chron 7:14). This isn’t talking about the other guy; it’s talking about you!

Sadly, the Bible prophesies that this won’t happen until God’s people go through great tribulation at the hands of their false savior — the god of statism, which is a thinly veiled form satanism. Thankfully, some will have their spiritual garments washed clean through the refining fires of great tribulation as they turn from their wicked and Torahless  ways (Rev 3:18; 7:14; 19:7–8). The rest will go through the hellish wrath of Elohim prophesied in the the book of Revelation.

The Bible reveals that when Yeshua the Messiah returns, Babylon the Great will fall at his feet defeated and its captives will be set free. YHVH will pour out his Holy Spirit upon his prodigals who will repent of their sinful rebellion against him. He will then bless them by giving them their promised inheritance in his eternal kingdom.

Why wait till then? Seek Elohim now and live!

And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, to keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD’S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is. (Deut 10:12–14)

Remember Nadab and Abihu!

Leviticus 10:1–7, Nadab and Abihu were executed by the fire of YHVH for not following his commandments. This disobedience was induced by the consumption of alcohol, which impaired their ability to following YHVH’s protocols for the tabernacle service (Lev 10:9).

lightning 2

Likewise, at the end of the Messianic Age (Millennium) unrepentant sinners will be executed by the fire of YHVH in the lake of fire (Rev 20:15) because they have been made drunk by the false religious teachings of the whore system of religious spiritual Babylon (Rev 18:3–4).

We are now living in an age where, thankfully, most of our sinful actions are not met with instant divine judgment (the case of Ananias and Sapphira in the Book of Acts would be a notable exception). Does knowing that YHVH will not instantly “zap” us with the proverbial lightning bolt from heaven when we sin cause us to become lax and even calloused toward sin in our lives? Do we truly walk in the fear of YHVH? Do we fear the consequences of sin even though the results may not be immediate? How loose is your spiritual walk? How many hidden sins that no one knows about do you have that you are failing to deal with?

The path of righteousness is becoming narrower and narrower. There are levels of rewards in Yeshua’s kingdom. Not everyone will be “the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Some will be the least, and many will not even be there at all (Matt 5:19). Remember that the tares that were mixed in with the wheat were culled out and burned (Matt 134:24–30). This is a picture of true versus false converts coexisting together to the very end!

An unjust judge vs. the Just Judge of the universe

Luke 18:2, A judge. In this parable of the Persistent Widow and the Unjust Judge, Yeshua is using a Hebraic form of reasoning or argument called kol v’khomer where a point is made from a lesser weight to heavier weight. In other words, if premise A is correct, then how much more so is premise B correct.

Justice 19981147

In the Jewish religious thinking of the first century, this is one of the seven laws of biblical interpretation of Hillel the Great (ca. 32 b.c. to a.d. 7) who was one the greatest Jewish religious leaders of Yeshua’s day.

In this parable, Yeshua is making the point that if an ungodly, secular judge who cares little about the needs of a widow will grant her wishes because of her persistent pleas for justice against her enemies, how much more will Elohim hear and answer the prayers of his elect saints who have faith in him and cry out to him continually to avenge them of their enemies.

A day of judgment is coming when the scales of justice will be balanced in favor of the saints of the Most High Elohim, the Just Judge of the universe. Certainly Elohim presently attends to the needs of his servant and gives them victory over their enemies in many small ways. But many believers are still suffering greatly at the hands of the wicked who don’t fear Elohim. However, the day is coming when YHVH will move with a mighty hand and universally avenge his servants of all their enemies small and great. Until then, the righteous martyrs continue to cry out asking Elohim, “How long, O Lord, holy and true until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” (Rev 6:10). His answer to them is to wait just a little longer (verse 11), for the great day of YHVH’s wrath, the wrath of the Lamb, which is coming upon the wicked (verse 17) coming soon. Until then, YHVH promises to never leave nor forsake his servants (Heb 13:5), so be strong in him!
