In other words, Yeshua teaches that self-interest for the purpose self-preservation is actually wisdom and prudence. The wise must not allow themselves to become so “kind-hearted” that in the process of helping others they end up exhausting themselves spiritually to the point of burn-out so as to become all but useless for helping to expand Elohim’s kingdom on earth.
