An Example of Torah-Obedience Before Moses

Genesis 18:19, Shall keep the way of YHVH…do justice and judgment. To what is YHVH referring here? He is referring to the Torah, something some Christian Bible teachers say did not exist before Moses and Mount Sinai (see also Gen 26:5). Let’s now see how the Scriptures define these terms and how they relate to the Torah. Genesis 18:19 says,

“For I [YHVH] know him [Abraham], that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of YHVH, to do justice and judgment; that YHVH may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken.” (emphasis added)

Let’s define the three highlighted words above in the larger context of the Scriptures.

Moses 10 Cs 2

“The way” is the Hebrew word derech (Strong’s H1870) and is used in the following places:

  • Blessed are the undefiled in the way [derech], who walk in the law [Torah] of YHVH. (Ps 119:1)
  • I will run the way [derech] of the commandments … (Ps 119:32)
  • Teach me, O YHVH, the way [derech] of thy statutes … (Ps 119:33)

“Justice” is the Hebrew word tsedaqah (Strong’s H6666) meaning “righteousness.” Here is an example of its usage:

  • … for all thy commandments are righteousness … (Ps 119:172)

“Judgments” is the Hebrew word mishpatim (Strong’s H4941) meaning “ordinances” referring to YHVH’s moral and ethical laws as embodied in the last six of the ten commandments, which teach righteousness in one’s business and personal relationships.

  •  …[YHVH’s] righteous judgments [mishpat]. (Ps 119:7)
  • I have chosen the way [derech] of truth: thy judgments [mishpat] have I laid before me. (Ps 119:30)
  • Thy word is true from the beginning; and every one of thy righteous judgments [mishpat] endures forever. (Ps 119:160)

Can there be any doubt, if we’re to believe what the Scriptures say literally that Abraham was Torah observant hundreds of years before Moses (Abraham’s great, great, great grandson) was born?

Prophetic Implications of the Miracle of the Five Loaves and Two Fishes

Matthew 14:13–21 explained:

(An excerpt rom Natan’s yet unpublished commentary on the Gospels.)

This account appears to be an allegory pertaining to end-time events—specifically, the regathering of the Israelite exiles, and is another allusion to the final redemption.
John the Immerser (Baptist), who came in the spirit of Elijah to prepare the way for Messiah, had just been killed by the politico-religious system of his day. (Similarly, it is interesting to note that the two end time witnesses or prophets who will come in the spirit of Elijah will be martyred in Jerusalem just prior to the return of Yeshua [Rev 11:1–13].) In response to John’s murder at the hands of Herod, Yeshua and his disciples left the area to escape any possible backlash of the wrath of Herod (who allegorically represents the devil). This seems to be a picture of what is prophesied to occur to the bride (the saints) of Messiah during the great tribulation just prior to the return of Yeshua (Rev 12:12–17). The boat seems to metaphorically represent the eagle’s wings of Revelation 12:14 that carried the woman into the wilderness, which is a place of protection and safety during the great tribulation.

33398287 Once in the wilderness, “when the day was far spent … and now the time is far passed” (a prophetic reference to the end of the age just prior to the return of Yeshua), Yeshua fed the multitude five loaves and two fishes provided by a young boy. The five loaves speak of the five books of YHVH’s Torah (since the number five alludes to Torah in Hebraic thought and bread or manna is symbolic of the Word of Elohim [Matt 4:4]. This points to Yeshua who, spiritually speaking, is the Bread of Life and Torah-Word of Elohim made flesh [John 1:1, 14; 6:32–58]). The two fish could either refer to Continue reading →

New Video: The Underground Church Is Coming to America

A cosmic battle is going on between the forces of Satan and Elohim for the soul of America. Spearheading the devil’s agenda are the dominant political, economic, educational, entertainment, industrial structures that govern this nation and even certain religious elements. Their main enemy? Bible followers. The true saints are being marginalized societally and will be driven underground if repentance and spiritual revival fail to occur. These fires of persecution will only refine YHVH’s saints and prepare them to be the bride of Yeshua at his second coming. Are you ready? Watch the video and find out.

Yeshua Is More Than a Mere Carpenter

Matthew 13:55, Carpenter’s son. Yeshua was physically and spiritually a carpenter or housebuilder (Pss 104:3; 127:1; Heb 3:1–6). He still works with wood in that he’s joining the two sticks of the two houses of Israel together (Ezek 37:19).

Men are like trees or sticks that Yeshua is putting together (Mark 8:23–24) into one house, or one tree — the olive tree of Israel (Ezek 37:19 cp. Rom 11:16–18; Jer 11:16; Hos 14:6). At his second coming, Yeshua will permantly bind or graft the two houses together legally as he finalizes the new covenant, which he initated at his last supper (Matt 26:28 cp. Heb 8:8, 13 and Jer 31:31, 33).

Will You Have a Sunny Disposition in the Kingdom?

Matthew 13:43, Shine forth as the sun. The reward of the resurrected righteous will cause them to shine forth like the sun or stars (Dan 12:3), and like Yeshua (1 John 3:2), whose face shines like the sun (Rev 1:16), for he is the Sun of Righteousness (Mal 4:2), who will be the light of the New Jerusalem shining in place of the physical sun (Rev 21:23; 22:5; Isa 60:20).

Paul speaks of the resurrection of the saints or their glorification that will occur at that time, and he also likens the saints’ appearance to the stars. As stars have different levels of brightness, so too will the saints (1 Cor 15:41–43) in accordance with their levels of rewards based on their level of obedience to the Torah (Matt 5:19; 16:27; Rom 2:6–11; 2 Cor 5:10; Eph 6:8; 1 Pet 1:17; Rev 19:8; 22:12–15).
