  1. Shalom Natan & All

just what I needed. Thankyou so much for providing an avenue of assistance to to test & try with our hearts to gain understanding.

It will be a sigh of relief to not be tossed about by every wind of doctrine in this & be able to focus on the next place to be on the rock of truth. The times of shaking will require us to know Him as He is and not how we imagine.

I am looking forward to the live webinar series. I did have a bit of difficulty on first watch as there seems to be chicken scratches everywhere as the hand written scribal work is definitely not a printed script and the passage of time has taken a toll on the clarity of the letters and vowels.

Have I appreciated what was said and derived the correct understanding in the vowel pointing to Adonai area?

    1. The vowel pointing for the actual word Adonai has three vowels for correct Hebrew pronounciation.

    2. When the scribe was adhering to the man-made directive to stop the Tetragrammaton being pronounced, that person would insert 2 vowels into the word that made it impossible to Hebraically pronounce.

    3. This 2 vowel insertion was an aid to remind the reader to pronounce the word Adonai & NOT YHWH with the 3 actual correct vowel points .

4.At times the scribe used the usual correct vowel pointing of 3 vowels with the consonants when copying YHWH.

5.These renderings remain today and were not removed from the script as it was in reality not a scribal error and was correct.

5.So what is written by the scribes even though under men’s directive to do otherwise stands as a witness of truth as to the pronounciation of our Creator’s Wondrous Name.

    Shavua Tov to All
Praise Yehovah without pride nor division to be our Love Goal.
Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.

    • I’m blessed that Keith Johnson’s teaching edified you.

The name of YHVH is a hot button topic for many people. It’s a very personal thing for those who have a heartfelt relationship with their Creator; after all, it’s what we call him, and that’s personal. When someone comes along and shows us evidence that maybe we’ve been calling him by the wrong name, that often gets people’s emotions all stirred up.

It’s all about truth. Are we really truth seekers? We may say that we are, but I fear that many folks are more partial to their cherished beliefs than they are to reviewing new evidence that may prove their sacred cow beliefs to be wrong. Look, over my life time of serving YHVH, I’ve had to change what I call him three times! When I saw the error of my ways, I just retrained my mouth and that was it. No fighting or squabbling. Just did it.

What does the Bible say to do? “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 These 5:21). The problem is that too many folks shoot off their mouths before proving all things. The Bible also says, “He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him” (Prov 18:13). So instead of rejecting the possibility of new truth, let’s sit back and examine a matter before answering. If we’re honest and quiet down the frantic, self-defensiveness of our soul man down for a second, YHVH might be able to talk to our spirit man in the quietness of our hearts and instruct us in his ways, thus bringing us to a higher level of our understanding and hence walk with him. This is a good thing!

We’re in a time of truth restoration as Acts 3:21 states,”Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution/restoration of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” YHVH is preparing his bride for Yeshua’s coming. Blessed are those who don’t fight it. This is a work of Elohim. HalleluYah!
