The title says it all. This physical life which we must traverse en route to the Promised Land of our spiritual inheritance in the kingdom of Elohim is every bit as difficult as the physical wilderness the children of Israel trudged through for 40 years. The first few chapters of Book of Deuteronomy contain the wise admonitions of a dying leader to his spiritual children on the perils of the wilderness experience and how to overcome them victoriously. Moses’ instructions are every bit as relevant now as they were then, and they contain the keys to success on how not to be consumed and overcome by the perils of the wilderness, but how to ensure that the wilderness experience prepares and refines a person for entrance into eternity in the presence of one’s Heavenly Creator.
