2023 Dates for Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread

Shalom Torah-truth seekers and lovers of Yeshua the Messiah. The emails are coming in asking us about the dates for the upcoming biblical feasts of YHVH based on the visible crescent new moon and abib/aviv barley in the land of Israel. Well, the reports have just come in from Devorah Gordon at https://www.facebook.com/datetree/ and others from Israel, so now we know.

Our family will be celebrating the Passover seder starting the late afternoon and going into the evening of Thursday, April 6. The first high holy day Shabbat of the Feast of Unleavened Bread will be on Friday, April 7, and the last high holy day Shabbat of the Feast of Unleavened Bread will be on Thursday, April 13.

If you have any more questions about YHVH’s biblical feasts or the biblical calendar, please go to the search button at the top this page and type in key words such as “biblical calendar” or “biblical feasts” or “Passover” or “Feast of Unleavened Bread”. Numerous articles and videos that I have made in the past will come up and likely answer all of your questions. Instead of having to re-invent the wheel over and over again by answering the same questions the people have over and over again, I have made these articles and videos available for your convenience to freely access whenever you like.

May YHVH bless you as you learn to walk as Yeshua and his disciples did. A whole new world of revelation will open to you, your faith in Yeshua will be strengthened and your love and understanding of the Word of Elohim will be deepened beyond measure.

Love and blessings to everyone!

Nathan Lawrence

  1. We will be keeping the same dates for the upcoming spring Holy Days. I have had friends say that using the crescent moon cannot be proved biblically. How would you go about proving it’s use? Thank you

    • Sorry, but your friends DO NOT know their Bibles in this regard. They are looking to man-made traditions and false interpretations of the Scriptures. I explain the biblical calendar and all the arguments against it in several articles and videos I have done on the subject which you can access at

    • or by typing in “Biblical Calendar” on the search button on this blog which is at the top of this page. Blessings!

  2. Thank you very much, Nathan, for keeping us updated every year on the dates per biblical calendar. It’s such a blessing! Your work and effort into this are huge, and we can partake of that to pass this light to others and help restoring the truth! HalleluYah! His ways are not difficult, but are joy and humble reverence of Him

  3. Yes Nathan and Sandi. Our thoughts echo Anna’s and may others embrace the biblical calendar. We have this information available to us now and it is such a blessing to know we are truly doing as YHVH commands us, the best we can!

  4. Thank You! I am also publishing the date of the observed method. This year it is only one day after the Hillel ll calendar. The only practical problem is that people who are employees are not able to give their employer a spesific date on which they ask for “days off”. At least not regarding pesach and the Unleavened bread holy days. I long for the “day” when the whole world will have the same calendar and the same faith 🙂

    • This is a main reason why I started my own business nearly 40 years ago and have remained self-employed ever since. This way I only have to ask myself for a day off to observe YHVH’s feasts!
