  1. Hello, Again I appreciate the sharing of your biblical knowledge.

I am looking for info on the “heave offering” and the right shoulder.

Have you done any studies on this??

if not, is there a website you recommend I can go to learn more about it??

    thank you

  2. Interesting facts about the month of Abib (Nisan). I obtain my Hebrew Calendar from Israel in order to follow the feasts at the appointed times as it is impossible for us to know when the Biblical year begins here in North America without living in the land of Israel.

Concerning the other books outside of the Bible, scripture tells us in Isaiah 8:16 ‘seal the law among my disciples’, the only time the word disciple is written in the Old Testament. The Bible was completed when John, Jesus last disciple died. The Old Testament identified Jesus for us so that he was recognized when he came. After Jesus, the Bible was finished as Isaiah pointed out, and all other books such as the book of Mormon are obviously added on and even their teachings different significantly from the rest of scripture that was YHWH breathed. They contradict it.

As well, concerning the Quran, Mohamed was unable to read or write as he was illiterate and none of the Quran(s) (there are several different versions) were written by him, just as none of the New Testament was written by Jesus.

    Blessings.

    • I disagree. It’s not impossible to determine and then to follow the biblical calendar in N. America. We’ve been doing it since 2000. Before the internet, email and telephone (i.e., instant communication) this was the case, but not now. When the new moon is spotted, or the abib barley is found in Israel, this info is instantly communicated globally. We no longer have a valid excuse not to follow the biblical calendar.

Thank you for your other comments. Blessings!

      • Good to know. I was not aware of this information being transmitted globally around the world. I have a few other questions for you re keeping the feasts though and am wondering if when you do the Passover Seder, if you do it on the eve of the 14th of Nisan according to scripture, which would be on the evening of the 13th, as all Biblical days start the evening before, or on the evening of the 14th, which is actually the evening of the beginning of the 15th? I notice that the Jews do this then as opposed to the evening of the 13th…?

      • Actually, the Israelites (and modern Jews) killed the Passover lamb on the afternoon of the 14th and ate the lamb between the evenings of the 14th and 15th. This is when we celebrate our seder. Yeshua did his Passover/Lord’s supper on the eve of the 13th going into the 14th.This is because he couldn’t do Passover at the traditional time, since he’d be hanging on the cross at that time BEING the Passover Lamb himself. Therefore, it’s acceptable to do the Passover meal either according to the Torah (at the end of the 14th) or when Yeshua did it (at the beginning of the 14th).

I discuss this in my article on the subject of the timing of Passover at http://hoshanarabbah.org/pdfs/psvr_dy.pdf. Enjoy.

        Thank you for your comments.

      • Another thought here concerning the Hebrew Calendar Natan. When I purchase one from Israel, the 1st of Nisan is already set, and the Calendar is printed from September 14th forward. This would then not be accurate…. Do you notify your followers when the 1st of Nisan happens? Thank you.

      • Yes. Go to our website at hoshanarabbah.org and sign up for Twitter and Facebook. This is how we let people know about the calendar dates. Also, go to our calendars page (a link is on the home page) to print off calendars that Sandi makes up several months in advance, or as soon as we know the dates for the feasts. All these resources are without cost.
