And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for appointed times, and for days and years. (Gen 1:14) Dear Friends, The new moon was sighted from Israel this evening, Friday, 18 September 2020! * From Tiberias by Denis and Maureen Chkolnik at 7:06pm. * From presumably the Zevulun Valley by Yoel Halevi and his son at 7:13pm. This means sunset on 18 September 2020 marks the beginning of the new month. Be sure to keep track what number month this is, based on when you started the new year! ![]() If reliable first-hand New Moon and Aviv Reports from Israel are of value to you, please consider supporting our efforts. We could really use your support in restoring the Biblical Calendar. Chodesh Tov! Make it a great month! Devorah Gordon Jerusalem, Israel |
We are very fortunate to have the means to know the moon cycles in Israel via the internet, etc. Some day we may not have these tools. We should all know how to locate the new moon and understand the calendar ourselves. As it says in Colossians 2:16, the new moon is part of what we should not let others judge us about. You can be sure those in Colossi had no way of knowing the new moon in Israel. They would have to watch themselves, just as we can.
Sir Natan,
There is only one,I know of a congregation here in the Philippines
who celebrate The Feasts of YHVH,one month in advance,
as opposed to Sept.18,2020,for example Yom Teruah.
Their spiritual consultant is Joseph Dummond of SightedMoon.com.
Is this biblical?
Thanks for your reply.
HAPPY YOM TERUAH!
May YHVH bless you for your faithfulness, Natan, thank you for providing us the updates of sighting the new moon in Israel. It’s such a blessing to know the truth of Torah, of His timing and His feasts with the open eyes and with thanksgiving in heart.
Happy Yom Teruah!!
Anna
Happy “looking forward to resurrection day”!
