On our way back from camping at Diamond Lake, Oregon, Sandi and I stopped at a restaurant to get lunch. This sign was posted over the sink in the men’s room. I kid you not!
The funny part to me is the person’s sense of humor and cleverness who almost imperceptibly blocked out the other original letters, apparently with white tape, making readers think it was the original message of the sign. I have known many people who with such a sense of humor and cleverness. Reminds me of the old T.V. show, Candid Camera. I wonder if anyone has actually heeded the modified message. Now THAT would be EXCEPTIONALLY funny! I probably have known at least some people like that too. ; )
OMW too funny
This is water conservation at its lowest!!
I laughed hard when I read your comment!
Maybe they were trying to tell you something; like the water in the toilet is safer than the sink. Hmm! Shabbat Shalom
You gotta wonder! Shabbat shalom back to you!
A great example of cultural linguistics that just lose something in the translation. Very funny.
They omitted the word DONOT wash hands in toilet bowl.
Maybe they think we’re dogs.

SHOULD READ : WASH YOUR HANDS (IN SINK ) BUT NOT IN THE TOILET.
It actually says “wash your hands after using the toilet”, but you can see that someone “whited out” the words “after us__g”. Still funny though!
Bravo Amanda! I think you finally solved the riddle. Kudos to you!
Hahaha! I DO like a good riddle challenge every now and then! 😉
