Torah Study | Parshiot
The Torah (the first 5 books of Scripture: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) is broken up for study into 54 “portions” called a Parashah. There are 54 of these portions read during a leap year, which has 13 months. During a 12-month year, the smaller Parshiot are doubled up so that there are 50 portions read.
Typically the entire Torah is read in one year, ending at Sukkot or Simchat Torah (immediately following Sukkot). Some choose to study on the triennial Torah Cycle, which breaks each Parashah into 3 smaller portions and the entire Torah is studied over 3 years.
Each week we study a Torah Parashah, as well as the Haftorah, and the B'rit Chadashah for that Parashah. The Haftarah (or Haftorah) is a reading from the Prophets that reminds us of the Torah Parashah for that week. The word "haftarah" means "concluding portion." The B'rit Chadashah reading is from the Apostolic Scriptures (also known as the “Renewed Covenant” or “New Testament”) that relates to the Torah Parashah. Parshiot is the plural form of the Hebrew word Parashah.

Torah is Life: YHVH's Instructions in Righteousness
Weekly Parashah Inductive Study Outlines and Commentaryfor individual or group study
Underneath each Parashah title in the chart below is a link to the study outline and a link to the companion Torah Explorers study guide. Torah Explorers is designed for use by ages approximately 10 years old and up; however, the youngest in this range may still need some adult assistance. We are currently preparing these to be uploaded to the website and the link will be established once that Parashah Torah Explorer’s study is available online. We are continuing work on further development of Torah Explorers (including translation into Spanish) and your feedback is welcomed.
B'rit Chadasha scriptures are listed in the order that they address the Parashah.

If you have been blessed by these teachings and consider this good ground,

I Timothy 5:17
The leaders who lead well should be considered worthy of double honor, especially those working hard at communicating the Word and at teaching. For the Tanakh says, "You are not to muzzle an ox when it is treading out the grain," in other words, "The worker deserves his wages."
1 Corinthians 9:3-14
That is my defense when people put me under examination. Don't we have the right to be given food and drink? Don't we have the right to take along with us a believing wife, as do the other emissaries, also the Lord's brothers and Kefa? Or are Bar-Nabba and I the only ones required to go on working for our living? Did you ever hear of a soldier paying his own expenses? or of a farmer planting a vineyard without eating its grapes? Who shepherds a flock without drinking some of the milk? What I am saying is not based merely on human authority, because the Torah says the same thing - for in the Torah of Moshe it is written, "You are not to put a muzzle on an ox when it is treading out the grain." If God is concerned about cattle, all the more does he say this for our sakes. Yes, it was written for us, meaning that he who plows and he who threshes should work expecting to get a share of the crop. If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you? If others are sharing in this right to be supported by you, don't we have a greater claim to it? But we don't make use of this right. Rather, we put up with all kinds of things so as not to impede in any way the Good News about the Messiah. Don't you know that those who work in the Temple get their food from the Temple, and those who serve at the altar get a share of the sacrifices offered there? In the same way, the Lord directed that those who proclaim the Good News should get their living from the Good News.
