\u201cYou shall not give back to his master the slave who has escaped from his master to you.\u00a0He may dwell with you in your midst, in the place which he chooses within one of your gates, where it seems best to him; you shall not oppress him.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Furthermore, Paul in 1 Timothy 1:10 condemns \u201cmen stealers\u201d or \u201ckidnapers,\u201d which in the Greek literally means \u201cslave traders.\u201d<\/p>\n
