The Bible prophesies this judgment upon those who refuse to curb their lascivious lusts and to keep sex in the context of marriage as the Creator originally designed (see\u00a0Scripture quote below article). Chlamydia cases had dipped in 2013, but last year&#8217;s total of more than 1.4 million &#8211; or 456 cases per 100,000 &#8211; was the highest number of annual cases of any condition ever reported to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The chlamydia rate was up almost 3 percent from 2013, the CDC reported Tuesday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div class=\"body\">\n<p class=\"ap-story-p\"><a href=\"http:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/2015\/11\/17\/sex-outside-marriage\/sex-having-20464412-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7488\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-7488\" src=\"http:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Sex-having-20464412-300x132.jpg\" alt=\"Sex, having 20464412\" width=\"300\" height=\"132\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Sex-having-20464412-300x132.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Sex-having-20464412-500x221.jpg 500w, https:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Sex-having-20464412.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"ap-story-p\">Sexually transmitted diseases are among more than 70 diseases that are reportable to the CDC, including measles, chickenpox and tuberculosis. Flu is reported differently, by hospitalizations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ap-story-p\">&#8220;America&#8217;s worsening STD epidemic is a clear call for better diagnosis, treatment, and prevention,&#8221; said the CDC&#8217;s Dr. Jonathan Mermin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ap-story-p\">Gonorrhea cases totaled 350,062, up 5 percent from 2013, and the most contagious forms of syphilis jumped 15 percent to 20,000. As in previous years, the syphilis increase was mainly in gay and bisexual men.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ap-story-p\">Most gonorrhea and chlamydia infections were in 15- to 24-year-olds, an ongoing trend. Both can cause infertility in women but can be treated with antibiotics. They often have no symptoms, and while yearly screening is recommended for sexually active women younger than 25, many don&#8217;t get tested and infections go untreated, the CDC said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ap-story-p\">\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Romans 1:18\u201332 prophesies divine judgment\u00a0upon those who refuse to follow YHVH&#8217;s sex laws as outline in his Torah:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>18 <strong>For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men<\/strong>, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,<\/p>\n<p>19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.<\/p>\n<p>20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,<\/p>\n<p>21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.<\/p>\n<p>22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,<\/p>\n<p>23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man&#8211;and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.<\/p>\n<p>24 Therefore God also gave them up to <strong>uncleanness<\/strong>, in <strong>the lusts of their hearts<\/strong>, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,<\/p>\n<p>25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.<\/p>\n<p>26 For this reason God gave them up to <strong>vile passions<\/strong>. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.<\/p>\n<p>27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, <strong>burned in their lust for one another<\/strong>, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves <strong>the penalty of their error which was due<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;<\/p>\n<p>29 being filled with all unrighteousness, <strong>sexual immorality<\/strong>, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,<\/p>\n<p>30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,<\/p>\n<p>31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;<\/p>\n<p>32 who, <strong>knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death<\/strong>, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
