Seven of the those nine times are in reference to abiding in Yeshua or his Father. Seven is the biblical number of completion or perfection. When we abide in Yeshua and his Father, then we\u2019re made perfect or complete in all areas of our life: spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s explore what it means to\u00a0abide in Yeshua so that we produce good spiritual fruit for our Master and Savior.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-434\" style=\"color: inherit; font: normal normal normal 15px\/normal 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; line-height: 1.625; border-style: solid; border-color: #dddddd; float: right; display: inline; margin-left: 1.625em; height: auto; max-width: 97.5%; margin-bottom: 0em; border-width: 0px; padding: 3px;\" title=\"Fruit of the Spirit 33398467\" src=\"http:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Fruit-of-the-Spirit-33398467-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Fruit-of-the-Spirit-33398467-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Fruit-of-the-Spirit-33398467-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Fruit-of-the-Spirit-33398467-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Fruit-of-the-Spirit-33398467.jpg 1144w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are made clean\/<em>katharos <\/em>[to be made pure, blameless, innocent; free of corrupt desire, sin, guilt and from that which is false] through the Word of Elohim (John 15:3, 7).<\/li>\n<li>We must continue\/abide in the love of Yeshua by keeping his\/the Father\u2019s commandments (John 15:10).<\/li>\n<li>We must love one another (John 15:12\u201317).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We must practice the key elements Yeshua taught in the Sermon on the Mount.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We must do the beattitudes (Matt 5:3\u201312)<\/li>\n<li>We must love the Torah (Matt 5:17\u201319)<\/li>\n<li>We must love our enemies (Matt 5:21\u201326, 38\u201342).<\/li>\n<li>We must keep our word (Matt 5:33\u201337).<\/li>\n<li>We must be a charitable giver (Matt 6:1\u20134).<\/li>\n<li>We must pray without ceasing (Matt 6:5\u201315; 1 Thess 5:17).<\/li>\n<li>We must fast regularly (Matt 6:16\u201318).<\/li>\n<li>We must flee materialism and greediness (Matt 6:19\u201321).<\/li>\n<li>We must set our life\u2019s priorities spiritually straight \u2014 seek first the kingdom of Elohim in all that you do (Matt 6:24\u201334).<\/li>\n<li>We must seek Elohim\u2019s help\/trust in him in every way in all that you do, say and think (Matt 7:7\u201311).<\/li>\n<li>We must live by the golden rule (Matt 7:12).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What are the results of abiding in Yeshua?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Being made clean, pure, free of sin, corruption, defilement and guilt (John 15:3).<\/li>\n<li>Bearing much fruit (John 15:5). What fruit?
