One each from the Torah, the Prophets, the Writings, and from the Testimony of Yeshua.\u00a0Each week, the Torah and haftarah readings will follow the traditional one-year reading cycle.<\/p>\n<p><em>Weekly Blog Scripture Readings for 2\/24 through 3\/2\/13.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>** A different Haftarah is read when it is a special sabbath in Jewish tradition. On 3\/2 is the traditional &#8220;<strong>Shabbat Parah<\/strong>&#8221; (Sabbath of the [Red] Heifer), which is the Sabbath that follows Purim. This haftarah is read as a reminder as we prepare for Pesach (Passover). The Jews say it is a reminder to be ritually pure before Pesach. We would say that it represents Yeshua. It is a unique sacrifice that makes the one doing the\u00a0<\/em><i>sacrifice unclean, but it purifies the one sprinkled by it when mixed with water.
