The four cups in the Passover Seder represent the four <i>I wills<\/i> that YHVH declares over Israel:<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2123\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/2013\/01\/10\/redemption-pt-2\/lamb-sacrifice\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2123\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2123\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2123\" alt=\"Yeshua the Redeemer is the Lamb of Elohim\" src=\"http:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Lamb-sacrifice-300x268.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"268\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Lamb-sacrifice-300x268.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Lamb-sacrifice-335x300.jpg 335w, https:\/\/hoshanarabbah.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Lamb-sacrifice.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2123\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Yeshua the Redeemer is the Lamb of Elohim<\/p><\/div>\n<p>1. \u201cI will bring you out\u201d is represented in the Cup of Sanctification.<\/p>\n<p>2. \u201cI will rid you out of their bondage\u201d is represented in the Cup of Deliverance.<\/p>\n<p>3. \u201cI will redeem you\u201d is represented in the Cup of Redemption.<\/p>\n<p>4. \u201cI will take you to me\u201d is represented in the Cup of Praise or Completion. This last cup is marriage language. He is taking Israel to be his bride. We still use this type of language in our modern marriage ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The Abrahamic Covenant has seven \u201cI wills\u201d from YHVH as well:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAnd <strong>I will<\/strong> make my covenant between me and you, and <strong>will<\/strong> multiply you exceedingly.\u201d And Abram fell on his face, and Elohim talked with him, saying, \u201cAs for me, behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations [Strong\u2019s H14871, goyim]. Neither shall your name any more be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for a father of many nations have I made you. And <strong>I will<\/strong> make you exceeding fruitful, and <strong>I will<\/strong> make nations [goyim, or \u201ca nation, people, a confluence, a body politic\u201d] of you, and kings shall come out of you. And <strong>I will<\/strong> establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be an Elohim unto you, and to your seed after you. And <strong>I will<\/strong> give unto you, and to your seed after you, the land wherein you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and<strong> I will<\/strong> be their Elohim.\u201d (Gen 17:2\u20138, emphasis added)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Renewed Covenant of the Testimony of Yeshua also has seven \u201cI wills\u201d from YHVH:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u001b\u001d\u201cBehold, the days come,\u201d says YHVH, \u201cthat <strong>I will\u00a0<\/strong>make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah; not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which my covenant they break, although I was an husband unto them,\u201d says YHVH, \u201cBut this shall be the covenant that <strong>I will<\/strong> make with the House of Israel after those days,\u201d says YHVH, \u201c<strong>I will<\/strong> put my law [or Torah] in their inward parts, and [<strong>I will<\/strong>] write it in their hearts; and <strong>will<\/strong> be their Elohim, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, \u2018Know YHVH,\u2019 for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says YHVH, for <strong>I will<\/strong> forgive their iniquity, and <strong>I will<\/strong> remember their sin no more.\u201d (Jer 31:31\u201334, emphasis added)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This last covenant is the one that Yeshua is in the process of making with redeemed Israel. He started the process at his last supper (Matt 26:28; 1 Cor 11:25). This process continues to this day (Heb 8:8\u201313), and will be finalized after Yeshua&#8217;s second coming (Ezek 34:25; 37:26; Jer 32:40; 50:5). This covenant is Yeshua&#8217;s marriage covenant with his blood-bought bride\u2014redeemed Israel, the saints.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that each successive covenant YHVH makes with his people is based on and is an expansion of the previous covenant\/s. The concept of YHVH redeeming his people from sin is an ancient one, yet is constantly expanding and extending into the future.
