YHVH Wants to Commune With His People<\/b><\/p>\n

From the beginning in the Garden of Eden, YHVH wanted to have a personal, communicative relationship with men.<\/p>\n

And they heard the voice [Heb. kol<\/i>] of the YHVH Elohim walking in the garden in the cool [Heb. ruach<\/i>] of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence [Heb. panyim<\/i>] of the YHVH Elohim amongst the trees of the garden. And the YHVH Elohim called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. (Gen 3:8\u201310)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You Can Hear the Voice of YHVH<\/b><\/p>\n

Yeshua tells us that we can hear his voice.<\/p>\n

To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name<\/b>, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. \u2026 My sheep hear my voice<\/b>, and I know them, and they follow me. (John 10:3\u20135, 27)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Throughout the Bible, there are many examples of YHVH\u2019s servants hearing his voice. Here are a few examples from the book of Acts of people hearing YHVH.<\/p>\n

Then the Spirit said unto Philip<\/b>, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. (Acts 8:29)<\/p>\n

While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him<\/b>, Behold, three men seek thee. (Acts 10:19)<\/p>\n

And the Spirit bade me<\/b> go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man\u2019s house. (Acts 11:12)<\/p>\n

And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit<\/b>, that he should not go up to Jerusalem. (Acts 21:4)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s All About Spiritual Activation<\/b><\/p>\n

To enter into a relationship with YHVH Elohim, our Creator and Father in heaven, and to become his sons and daughters, we must be spiritually activated.<\/p>\n

Man is comprised of body, soul and spirit (1 Thess 5:23). Before being spiritually regenerated or born again, our soul (our mind, will and emotions) controls what we think, say and do. The Scriptures talk say this about the spirit in man.<\/p>\n

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. (Job 32:8)<\/p>\n

Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? (Eccl 3:21)<\/p>\n

The burden of the word of YHVH for Israel, saith YHVH, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. (Zech 12:1)<\/p>\n

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of Elohim knoweth no man, but the Spirit of Elohim. (1 Cor 2:11)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Man can\u2019t enter into a relationship with a YHVH who is a Spirit through his soul. Elohim is a Spirit, and we must relate to him through his the Spirit.<\/p>\n

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Cor 2:14)<\/p>\n

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Elohim is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23\u201324)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For man to relate to Elohim, he must do so through his spirit. This means man\u2019s spirit must be activated at the time of his new spiritual birth. When this occurs, a man receives in himself the Spirit of Elohim, which activates and controls the spirit in man, which in turn controls the soul (the mind,will and emotions), which in turn the body what to think, say and do.<\/p>\n

When we are born again from above our spirit man is activated by the Spirit of Elohim.<\/p>\n

The spirit of a man is the lamp of YHVH, Searching all the inner depths of his heart. (Prov 20:27)<\/p>\n

But there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. (Job 32:8)<\/p>\n

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim (Rom 8:16)<\/p>\n

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith (Eph 3:16\u201317)<\/p>\n

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from Elohim, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by Elohim. These things we also speak, not in words which man\u2019s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of Elohim, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Cor 2:12\u201314)<\/p>\n

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. \u2026 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. (1 John 2:20, 27)<\/p>\n

And every spirit that does not confess that Yeshua the Messiah has come in the flesh is not of Elohim. And this is the spirit of the Antimessiah, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. (1 John 4:3)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
