Natan’s Mother Now Awaits the Resurrection

This past Friday afternoon, my mother went to her resting place where she awaits the resurrection of the righteous dead at Yeshua’s second coming. She fought a hard battle against cancer. She was a few days shy of her 85th birthday. My parents were married for 62 years. My father is doing fine. Our family is relieved that mom is free of her sick bed where she languished for a couple of months. Thankfully, she had little if any pain (other than bed sores) until the very last night, and even then, the pain was not from cancer, but the bed sores. Thank you for your prayers.

  1. In my Bible reading this morning, such a comforting and beautiful thing to think on….

“As for me, I shall behold Your Face in righteousness; I will be satisfied with Your likeness
    when I awake.” Psalm 17:15

  2. I pray for Yah’s complete shalom for you and your family, Nathan. Also, may your mother’s light and the example of her faithfulness to YHVH keep shining for those who were in her life and still are in need of Yeshua. He is our only way and our only hope, always will be like that. Shalom, Anna

absence., May Abba presence comfort you & your family.

    Resurrection of the Righteous
& now you will be relieved & comforted.

  5. May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds through Messiah Yeshua in this trying time.

  6. May your family continue to be strengthened and encouraged by the memory and legacy of your Mom and the impact she had on you all. It sounds like she was a wonderful woman of Yah. Looking forward to meeting her in the Kingdom!

  8. Oh, Natan… sweet brother and friend. I’m so sorry to be just hearing of this. Prayers of comfort, refreshment and renewal. The seeds planted by your mother, nourished and developed by Our Father have blessed so many. Prayers that you feel His love and presence especially close at this time. You are cherished. Big hugs to you from the Fishburnes!

    • Sincere thanks to everyone who has posted kind words of condolences. It was actually a relief to see mom go. Knowing that we will see her again eased our grief considerably. It’s still hard to believe that she’s gone, but this is the cycle of life. Hers was the first casket that I’ve ever tossed dirt onto. A strange experience, to be sure, now that I look back on it. In many ways, it all seems so surreal. Love and blessings to everyone.

  9. Natan ,sincere condolences on the passing of your dear mother and friend. but one can re

rejoice that she knew the one & only saviour Yeshua our King, he is the door to our

    Heavenly Father.
