Happy End of Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret 2020!

As we close out this year’s Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles) and Shemini Atzeret (the Eighth Day), our family would like to wish you and glorious rest of the year as we enter into the dark winter season in preparation for a new feast season next biblical year starting with Passover.

By the way, please feel free to share with us your praise reports and testimonies of how you were blessed this year at Sukkot. You can do this in the comments section of this post.

The Nathan and Sandi Lawrence family gathered together on the Shemini Atzeret after a Bible study.
Sunset of Sukkot on the Deschutes River a couple of blocks from temporary home.
Shemini Atzeret morning on the Deschutes River with a gentle rain falling to wash the dust off of everything, to water the land, and to clear the forest fire smoke out of the air. This coming year, may the gentle rain of the Holy Spirit and the water of YHVH’s Torah-Word clean and refresh us and water the ground of our hearts, so that we can bring forth a bountiful spiritual harvest for our Heavenly Father. Amein.

  1. You have a very nice looking family. They all look so happy together. My brother used to live close to the Deschutes River in Eastern Oregon. I used to love to visit him there. I live mostly alone. My nephew lives with me but I don’t see much of him. I am 71 years old and unmarried. I envy you and your family.

  2. I also envy your family because you have all the same faith in Yeshua.
my husband is Carholic & my daughter had a suitor(which I disapprove)
because he is in Oneness(only “Jesus” & they do not believe in the Trinity)
False Religion with their false teacher.
Please pray that my family & relatives will all be Messianics.
thank you & blessings to your family,as always.

  3. Thank you for sharing your family with us. Thank you very much for your teachings and your encouragement to study the Torah. Be Blessed

  4. I feel very blessed this Sukkot for various reasons. Firstly, I am happy, that John is back home with me, after a brain bleed and a nearly 3 week hospital stay, mostly on the High Dependency Ward. He is still very weak and his eyes don’t co-ordinate, he sees everything double. Please pray for his full recovery.
Secondly, we spent the High Holy days during Sukkot with a like minded family. We enjoyed having 4 children around and much music was played and sung.
Thirdly, my son and daughter seem to be very happy presently, after having gotten out of a toxic relationship; yes both of them.
Adonai is good all the time. When times are bad and sad, I try to focus on the next life, where there is no more death and sickness, just bliss and goodness and godliness and hopefully, no more temptations.
    Shalom to all bloggers,
    Sonja
