  1. Thanks for sharing.

Sandi has such a beautiful smile of life. Both of your eyes shine out life. It was like going on a beaut break just watching.

I have felt guilty about going on holidays but I can see refreshing of the Saints is part of the plan at times too.

I am looking forward to travelling to Israel this year for the first time with my husband too.

    Blessings FJ

    • Israel will be an awesome experience for you. It will help make the Bible to come alive to be able to picture the land in your mind as you’re reading various scripture passages. We were there for two weeks in 2008 and barely scratched the surface of what there is to see.

      • Lots of prayerful planning ahead for our Israel trip. Looking at going with a group tour when we get there. I don’t want to waste a minute as it may be our first and last opportunity. Shalom. FJ

  2. Hi again Natan

I was astonished to see the Hebrew letters on the meat dishes in the display case on the Queen Mary. Do you know the significance of them?

Also the fish are similar to some I have seen on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia where I used to live in the Whitsundays area and Australian Pelicans are predominantly white with black edgings.

Be blessed. Off to work now. FJ

    • The plates with the Hebrew writing were for kosher eating orthodox Jewish travelers who didn’t want to mix their meat and dairy and wanted to keep the other laws of kashrut. There are a lot of wealthy Jews, so it paid to cater to their needs and make them feel welcome at at home.

  3. What a gorgeous photo of u both: you both make a very handsome couple …..once again congratulations on your 25 th anniversary.

The Video was wonderful..the scenery just beautiful, such good narrating Natan, the colours etc, beaches, fish, flowers, palms .The Ship looked great also….amazing trip.
It felt like u were right there as we watched it…scenery very varied.

The Queen Mary @ the end ; a bit of a contrast also…another great ship..oh yes & the pipe band Scottish music. I am going to play this video for my 93 year old dad & 90 year old mum…MY dad’s sight is not the best due to aged Macular Degeneration but he can make out some of it ..he loves the water & the ships ..& he used to play in the pipe band in his younger days..when I was around 7-8 yrs & I did a bit of Scottish dancing ( lessons etc) so he will enjoy that aspect..
THANKYOU BOTH FOR SHARING A VERY SPECIAL TRIP.

    • Thank you! We were looking our best in that photo, since it was formal night on the ship. You should see me when I’ve just come out of a tree. I look more like a backwoodsman, mountain man! It’s amazing what a shower and some clean clothes will do.

  4. Yes Natan , too right…just came to my memory bank…My dad loves the song Amazing
Grace played on the bag pipes …I still remember what my dads bagpipes looked like & the Scottish tartan that was sown over the [I suppose you would call it like the udder of the bagpipes..].the 3 pipes that were on the top….how he would blow into the pipe ( mouth piece bit etc to make the sound & the lower piece which was a bit like a recorder with the holes ..& how he played the tunes..eg Danny Boy etc..

Oh boy it’s bringing back very fond memories of that part of our lives..my dad was much younger than his 90 yrs & they had a lone piper..playing as my mum & dad walked down the aisle on their wedding day..I can see a photo of them on their wedding day on the wall in a picture frame…so lovely to have fond memories of my childhood ..I had good parents who gave my sister & I a very solid family upbringing ..
Stood. Us in good steed for the rest of our adult life…so appreciate them & my Heavenly Father..bye Natan…..
