Based off of Genesis 48.
Is the commonly called “two house” or “two-stick” message” of the Bible something we should study? Are there any spiritual and prophetic benefits to understanding who the two houses of Israel are? The answer is yes. I would prefer to call it the “One House Message,” since this biblical truth involves the regathering and reunification of the Jews (the house of Judah) and the Christians (the house of Israel or Ephraim) into one nation through Yeshua the Messiah. This is the one new man message Paul proclaimed in Ephesians chapter two. This is the great and largely overlooked truth behind the message of the gospel of Yeshua the Messiah. Thank you for expounding on this important message. I like the “one house message” title because that is truly the idea. That of the two houses ultimately becoming one. Once I began to understand this the Word came together like never before, to say the least.
In fact, it was your teaching on this subject that led me to following you on You Tube and on your blog. I use the “one house” teaching as a sort of litmus test when looking for Hebrew roots teachers. If it doesn’t appear that they grasp this concept then I just move on. When I came to you I thought, “Halleluiah, I can hang around & learn & rest for awhile”.
Don’t get me wrong-I’m not looking to tear down anyone’s ministry (heaven forbid) nor am I looking to be lazy and neglect my own calling, but similar to what you mentioned about how far off track teachers can become if this (unified house of Israel) is not the fundamental context to understanding the entire Word of Yahweh, then sometimes they can get way off track and I just don’t have the time or the inclination to listen to it. I trust that the Ruach HaKodesh will lead them in all truth, if their motivation is righteous.
I have been pondering John 4, in the context of the lost sheep of Israel, over the past few days and I think that your point is well taken in Yeshua’s coming was to both houses of Judah and Ephraim. This seems to be somewhat misconstrued by many.The Ruach keeps bringing me back to this chapter again and again.
I am tempted to go into greater detail, but suffice it to say I have been profoundly moved by this previously thought familiar chapter of Yochanan and the very clear message has been to see who we truly are(as you say in your video), because: (Yeshua said to the woman at the well)” But the time is coming–indeed, it’s here now–when the true worshipers will worship the Father spiritually and truly, for these are the kind of people the Father wants worshiping him. God is spirit; and worshipers must worship him spiritually and truly.” Yochanan 4:23-24 (CJB).

With regard to the idea that when Yeshua mentions coming for the lost sheep of the house of Israel, I’ve observed something in our movement that is troubling. There are those (a small minority) who view the lost sheep of Israel as being only the ten tribes of the Northern Kingdom. If this is the case, then it’s only a short step of logic (at least in their thinking) that Yeshua came only for Ephraim (the Christians) and not for the Jews, who, after all, (as they falsely go on to reason) have remained faithful to the Torah and never strayed from it. What’s more, YHVH never divorced himself from Judah, but only Ephraim, so Yeshua is only for the errant tribes of the Northern Kingdom. Next thing you know, these folks convert to rabbinic Judaism and deny the deity of and need for Yeshua.
When we realize that all the tribes of Israel are like lost sheep who’ve gone astray (after all, this is what Isaiah says in Isa 53:6 — “all we like sheep have gone astray…”), and that Yeshua came for them all, and that YHVH had to divorce both houses of Israel (I can back this up from Scripture, but this is another discussion), then we see that all the tribes need Yeshua’s redemption equally. Therefor, Yeshua and the gospel message remain front and center for everyone of both houses of Israel.
Yes, I have personally witnessed the logical fallacy that you describe in your post. I too find this quite troubling. This only accentuates the crucial aspect of proper discernment, in this core concept, and the necessity of teaching (and learning) this again and again, if necessary, until this is the main focus and only lens in which the Gospel is viewed. ALL have gone astray and the WHOLE HOUSE of Israel (the 12 tribes and those who have adjoined themselves to them) have been divorced AND (Praise YHVH) through Yeshua’s sacrificial death we have been redeemed.
Without this understanding, I believe that there can be no true discernment of the Gospel message as put forth in Hebrews 9:11-28, as without this understanding we cannot comprehend the significance of Yeshua’s sacrifice, nor truly enter into it (I know this is bold, forgive me). With this understanding we see why in v16 there is a necessity of the death of the testator (YHVH in the person of Yeshua) which then allows the (re)marriage of the former wife (whole house of Israel). Otherwise this would have been against the Torah-for to re-marry a wife once divorced is an abomination.
And so, once again, I thank you, Natan, for taking the time to first put forth this teaching for all to view, (I pray that countless others will be blessed as I have been), and for responding so graciously to my comments as this touches my heart, and because I am without a fellowship to physically assemble, brings a fulfillment of the Scripture that says in Hebrews 10:23-25;
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching”.

Ezekiel 37 has been resonating within me lately and I was just pondering this very topic the other day wondering how some can reject the ‘concept’ of two houses (or your very astute observation: one house) and render either the house of Judah as the only chosen, or, just as bad, accept replacement theology.
I have only recently learned of those who once believed in Yeshua to deny Him and follow after rabbinic Judaism, accepting the idea that only Yehudim are chosen. But as you said, ALL 12 tribes have gone astray, and YHWH desires to restore us all back to Him, to one happy family, through Yeshua’s sacrifice.
I have often found, disappointingly, that many Jews in the Messianic ‘movement’ (for lack of better term) still refer to the rest of us as Gentiles. Makes me wonder about how they interpret Scripture, (not to puff myself up) do they not see us as Israel too? As being grafted in? That there is no Gentile gate in the new Yerushalayim? I understand they (Jews) have suffered much at the hands of the nations, and the ‘church’, and that breaks my heart, but it can cause ‘us’ to feel inferior when continually referred to as, basically, outsiders. I guess that pressure has always been here (Acts 15, Galatians 5, Titus 1, among others).
I truly LOVE my Yehudim brothers & sisters..and yearn for the day we dwell together. I suppose I am just anxiously awaiting unity!

Dear Brother, it was like hearing myself when I listened to your 2 house video. You hit all of the high points in this video. It is the 2nd most important thing for me to learn next to the true names of YHWH and Yahushua. I have extensive notes all through my scriptures concerning the 2 houses and all of the different ways it has been spoken of or implied and every so often I discover another verse. Many people treat me like I belong to some kind of a strange cult but these verses were right in front of my eyes for 30+ years before I was made aware of them and now I can’t not see them. This is a move of YHWH at the end of this present age – Olam hazeh and it is so awesome.
Well, my friend, you’re with kindred folk here. I unashamedly preach and teach the restoration of the two houses of Israel being united into one stick in YHVH’s hand. I have written on this extensively on our website and have many videos on it as well. Nobody has been able to counter anything I have said for I back all up with Scripture and with well-documented facts. We must boldly proclaim this truth. Those who refuse to see it are either willingly ignorant, hate the truth or are reverse anti-Semites. Period.

The “new man” is just one aspect of everything being created “new”. As Revelation says “Behold, I make all things new”. So the “new” covenant, the “new” heavens and earth, and the “new” Jerusalem are symbols of the “new creation”, created in Yeshua.
The cross and substitutionary death of Yeshua signifies the death of the “old” (carnal) Man and the resurrection (2nd birth or born again) of the “new” man. That Yeshua is the 2nd Adam, not only signifies that he does what Adam should have done, but also that he is the “Head” of an entire “new” type of Man, spiritually born anew.
Truthfully, I had never made the connection between the new man and the New Jerusalem, new heavens and new earth before. It’s such a big puzzle, but when all the pieces are laid out, they fit perfectly together into the most glorious picture. None of us has the whole picture—each has a piece of the puzzle.
I’ll let you in on a little secret. One of the main reasons I started this blog was so that I could learn from you, and you and you, so that I could take the pieces of the puzzle that you all have and add them to the ones I already have, and we could together assemble the pieces and synergistically grow in the knowledge of the Almighty.

I love telling people that many prominent bible characters were not Jewish – Tribe of Judah. Here are many of them: Adam, Enoch, Noah ,Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, Gideon, Samson, Eli, Samuel, Barnabas, Paul, Zachariah, Elizabeth, John the immerser, Matthew, and I am sure that you can find several more.
Absolutely correct. All Jews are Hebrews, but not all Hebrews are Jews. Similarly, all Jews are Israelites, but now all Israelites are Jews. We have the 12 tribes of Israel, NOT the 12 tribes of Judah!!!!
Moreover, the modern Orthodox Jews themselves admit that they are from the tribe of Judah, and that the other 11 tribes will be regathered and will return to the land of Israel in what they call the Final Redemption when the Messiah come. I have written much about this with a plethora of documentation from their own sources to back these facts up.
Sadly, many of our Jewish Christian brothers who insist on peddling the Jew-Gentile church subdivision heresy, which is contrary to Scripture (see Gal 3:28; Col 3:11 and Eph 2:11–19, find the monetary benefits of promoting this erroneous teaching (i.e. if you bless the Jews and you will be blessed—a false reading of Gen 12:3) are also those who insist on using the Jewish title of rabbi (literally meaning “my great one”) in direct opposition and rebellion to Yeshua’s command in Matt 23:8, 10 to call no man this. I have heard their arguments on this last issue why Yeshua really didn’t mean what he said there, but that boat don’t float, so to speak. The twisting of the Word of Elohim to fit our own ideas all the while enriching our bank accounts is a serious problem everywhere that YHVH strongly condemns throughout Scripture. The two house message and understanding has been one of the biggest highlights of my biblical life of 43+ years. I enjoy seeing the 3 tribes in Judah co-mingling in scripture and just this week saw that in acts where Barnabas is a levite, Paul is from Benjamin and Peter is from Judah. The perfect representation of all 3 in one under the tribe of Judah title.
9And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
Some say Peter may not have been a Jew but even without him, all 3 tribes were mingling and working together spreading the besorah.
I have been giving the link to this study to several people lately because it is an awesome intro to the subject. Some have responded back with enthusiasm.
